They open the try-on from the product page, upload a photo of themselves, see that garment on, and get a size recommendation. They can download the result. It all happens in the browser: there is no app to install.

Before uploading it they accept a privacy notice explaining how that image is used. The photo exists to generate that try-on, and the retention and deletion details live in that notice, not in the fine print.
